At Joey’s Heating & Plumbing, our heating engineer can check your premises and issue a Landlord Safety Certificate or CP12 to show that everything’s working as it should. If we find any issues, we can also carry out any repairs or installations, so your tenants are taken care of.

What we do
Our engineer will:
- Carry out a visual inspection of all appliances
- Carry out a “gas tightness test” to check for gas leaks
- Check that there is adequate ventilation in rooms that contain gas appliances
- Test the safety mechanisms in the appliances, to make sure that they are working
- Test the standing and working pressure of the boiler (if test points are available for this)
- Check the burner pressure and gas rate, in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
- Check combustion & analyse the product of combustion are safe
